About Us

Common Sense Technologies (CST) is a family-owned and operated company that emphasizes personalized customer service that can only be achieved through listening to the customer’s needs and providing practical solutions.  Our primary mission is to provide accurate and timely information to our valued customers about the latest trends in technology that will reduce costs and improve productivity.  John and Nancy Gallagher changed the name from Gallagher and Associates in 2005 to better reflect the broader portfolio of products and services that were being offered through the development of technology.

Common Sense Technologies leads by example and supports local charities in the community, like the Drexel Hill Little League and Cub Scouts.  CST also supports the Families Behind the Badge Foundation. Both John and Michelle sit on the Board and John, Nancy, Michelle, and Danielle all volunteer at their signature event, The Ben to the Shore bike race, every July.

Michelle Doerr

Michelle (Gallagher) Doerr was an integral addition to the company in 2005 and oversees Operations.  She is the “go-to” person and is very knowledgeable.  Michelle is a graduate of Penn State University and while she has been involved in many charities over the years, like the Variety Club of Philadelphia and the Families Behind the Badge Foundation, her two very active daughters keep her busy.

Danielle Gallagher

Danielle Gallagher worked on a project basis with the company for several years before finally joining CST full time in April 2016. She heads up our Quoting Department and works on some of our marketing initiatives. Her undergraduate degree from Temple University has more than prepared her for working with a bunch of Penn Staters. Danielle volunteers on the Picasso Project Committee, which regrants money to Philadelphia schools to bring in arts residencies to supplement their dwindling programs.
